  • Mix dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Set this mixture aside.
  • Beat the butter and sugar: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Add eggs: Beat in the eggs, one at a time, ensuring they are well incorporated each time.
