  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 green onions (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic (minced)

  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

  • In a bowl, combine the drained tuna, breadcrumbs, egg, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Sprinkle in some salt and pepper. Use your hands to mix until well combined.
  • Take a handful of the mixture and form it into a patty about 1 inch thick. Repeat with the rest of the mixture—this should make about 6-8 cakes.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Carefully place the tuna cakes in the pan, frying for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden and crispy.
  • Transfer the cakes to a plate lined with paper towels to drain off any excess oil.
  • In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise with sriracha to taste for the spicy mayo.
