  • 8 oz linguine or spaghetti
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: Cherry tomatoes, spinach, or fresh basil

  • Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large pot, boil salted water and cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the rest and set aside.
  • In a large oven-safe skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Pour in the white wine, bring to a simmer, and allow it to reduce by half for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Add shrimp, cooked linguine, reserved pasta water, lemon juice, and parsley into the skillet. Toss everything together until well combined.
  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the mixture.
  • Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, until shrimp are cooked through and the top is bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
