  • 8 oz. of lo mein noodles
  • 1 cup of chopped asparagus
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • Optional: Carrots or bell peppers for extra color
  • Optional: Green onions for garnish
  • Optional: A sprinkle of sesame seeds

  • Instructions

  • Cook the noodles by boiling a large pot of salted water, adding lo mein noodles, and cooking until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  • Sauté the beef in a skillet over medium-high heat with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil until browned, then remove from the pan.
  • Add another tablespoon of vegetable oil, garlic, and asparagus to the same pan and sauté for 2 minutes until the asparagus is tender.
