  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

  • Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract. Mix until fully combined.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add the egg yolk and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
  • Gently fold in the blueberries.
  • Drop dollops of cookie dough onto prepared baking sheets, leaving space in between each cookie.
  • Add a spoonful of cheesecake filling on top of each dollop of cookie dough and gently swirl together using a toothpick.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  • Allow to cool on baking sheets for about 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
