Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Cooked chicken or ham, red pepper flakes, different cheeses, chopped green onions, extra shredded cheese, fresh parsley or thyme

  • Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice, broccoli florets, and shredded cheese.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, sour cream, eggs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the rice mixture and stir until everything is evenly mixed.
  • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter, then transfer the mixture into the dish, spreading it evenly.
  • If desired, sprinkle additional cheese on top for an extra cheesy crust.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden and the dish is bubbly.
