2 cans Green Chiles or fresh roasted
8 oz Cream Cheese
1 cup Sour Cream
2 cups Shredded Cheese (Cheddar or Monterey Jack)
4 large Eggs
1/2 cup Flour
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Onion Powder
Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and eggs until smooth. Add in flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, mixing until well combined.
Layer half of the green chiles in the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the chiles, then sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheese on top.
Repeat the layers with the remaining chiles and cream cheese mixture, finishing with the last cup of shredded cheese on top.
Bake uncovered in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving. Top with fresh garnishes like cilantro or avocado.
