Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

  • Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Wash and halve the pears, scooping out the cores gently.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped walnuts, cinnamon, melted butter, honey, salt, nutmeg and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  • Spoon the nut mixture into the pear halves, packing it in slightly.
  • Place the stuffed pears on a baking dish lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes, or until the pears are tender.
