2 large eggs

1 pre-made pie crust
1 tablespoon of maple syrup (optional)
A pinch of salt (optional)
1/4 teaspoon of ginger powder (optional)
Whipped cream (for serving)
Toasted pecans (for garnish)

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Roll out your pre-made pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish. Crimp the edges and prick the bottom with a fork.
In a large bowl, combine pumpkin puree, heavy cream, sugar, eggs, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, and optional salt. Whisk until smooth.
Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.
Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for 40-50 minutes until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
