Instructions
Begin by cleaning the mushrooms thoroughly under running water, then pat them dry with paper towels.
Slice the mushrooms into even pieces, ensuring they cook uniformly. Depending on the size, halving or quartering them is recommended.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is shimmering, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds or until fragrant.
Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet, stirring to coat them in the oil and garlic. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until they have released their moisture and developed a nice golden brown color.
Sprinkle the smoked paprika and dried thyme over the mushrooms and mix well. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
