  • 1 prepared pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • Instructions

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage until browned. Break it apart with a spatula as it cooks to ensure even browning.
  • Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent and fragrant, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Stir in the diced tomatoes and Italian seasoning. Allow the mixture to simmer on low for about 10 minutes.
  • Remove the skillet from heat and stir in one cup of shredded cheese until melted and well combined.
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Roll out your pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie plate.
  • Fill the crust with the meat and cheese mixture, spreading it evenly.
  • Top with the remaining shredded cheese, ensuring the filling is fully covered.
  • Fold the overhanging crust over the top of the pie and crimp the edges to seal.
