Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs of ground turkey
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup of ketchup
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a small skillet, sauté chopped onion and minced garlic in olive oil for 3-4 minutes until soft and fragrant.
  • In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, sautéed onions and garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
  • Transfer mixture to a loaf pan or shape freeform on a baking sheet lined with parchment.
  • Top with about ¼ cup extra ketchup.
  • Bake for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
