Ingredients
Scale
6 large eggs
3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon of white vinegar
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Paprika for garnish
Chopped fresh herbs (optional)
Hot sauce (optional)
Bacon bits (optional)
Microgreens (for garnish, optional)
Capers (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
Boil the eggs: Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with cold water by about an inch. Bring the water to a gentle boil over medium heat. Once boiling, cover the pot, turn off the heat, and let the eggs sit for 10-12 minutes.
Cool 'em down: Transfer the eggs to an ice bath for about 5 minutes to make peeling easier.
Peel the eggs: Gently tap the eggs on the counter to crack the shell and peel from the wider end.
Make the filling: Slice each egg in half lengthwise, scoop out the yolks into a bowl, mash the yolks and mix in the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, vinegar, and season with salt and pepper.
Fill 'em up: Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.
Garnish and serve: Sprinkle with paprika or any preferred garnishes.
Notes
These deviled eggs are simple to make and perfect for any spring gathering, bringing a touch of nostalgia and joy.
