Discover the Dubai chocolate crookie a luxurious fusion of croissant and cookie with gooey centers, flaky layers, and irresistible flavor


Ingredients

Scale

  • 1 batch croissant dough (or use store-bought, but fresh is better)

  • 1 cup chocolate chip cookie dough

  • Egg wash (1 egg + 1 tbsp milk)

  • Optional: sea salt, dark chocolate chunks, hazelnuts


Instructions

 

  1. Roll out croissant dough into rectangles

  2. Place a scoop of cookie dough in the center

  3. Fold the edges of the croissant dough around the filling

  4. Brush with egg wash

  5. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes

  6. Cool slightly, then serve warm

Notes

 

  • Use high-quality chocolate with at least 60% cocoa

  • Chill your assembled crookies before baking to prevent spreading

  • Bake on parchment to reduce sticking and burning
