  • Optional: 1/2 cup of chopped nuts
  • Optional: 1/2 cup of coconut flakes
  • Special Garnish: Colored sugar

  • Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a separate large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  • Gradually incorporate the dry mixture into the wet, mixing until just combined.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips and fold them gently in.
  • Fold in the sprinkles evenly distributed.
  • Drop rounds of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them a couple of inches apart.
