1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
Skewers (wooden or metal)
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until it forms a uniform marinade.
Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the bowl with the marinade. Toss the shrimp until they’re well coated. For best results, let them marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
Once the shrimp have marinated, thread the shrimp onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each one.
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are opaque and cooked through.
