  • 2 tbsp Jerk Seasoning
  • 2 Green Onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 4 Burger Buns
  • Optional: Red Pepper Flakes, Cheese (e.g., Pepper Jack or Cheddar)
  • Special Garnishes: Fresh Cilantro, Avocado Slices

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, jerk seasoning, chopped green onions, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Use your hands to mix gently but thoroughly until well blended.
  • Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about ¾ inch thick. Make a small indent in the center of each patty.
  • Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Add a drizzle of olive oil to prevent sticking. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • In a separate mixing bowl, combine shredded cabbage, diced mango, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and a pinch of salt. Toss to mix well.
  • Toast your burger buns briefly on the grill or stove if desired. Place each patty on a bun, top with the mango slaw, and add any additional garnishes you prefer.
