  • 1 Egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Fresh Herbs (optional, such as thyme or rosemary)
  • Crushed Nuts (optional, such as slivered almonds or walnuts)
  • Spicy Jam (optional, like jalapeño pepper jelly)
  • Caramelized Onions (optional)

  • Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Thaw the puff pastry at room temperature for about 30 minutes, or until soft enough to unfold.
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet to smooth it out. Cut it into squares (about 3×3 inches).
  • Place each square in a greased mini muffin tin or on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
