- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 2–3 jalapeños
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder, then add them to the skillet.
- Cook the chicken for about 5-6 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
- Mix the cream cheese and half of the shredded cheddar cheese in a bowl until well combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chicken.
- Slice the jalapeños and sprinkle them on top of the cheese layer.
- Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese over the jalapeños.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for approximately 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
