Instructions
Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the orecchiette and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve about 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the rest and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant. Be careful not to brown it. Then, add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are golden brown and have released their moisture, about 5-7 minutes.
