¾ cup granulated sugar
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup whole or 2% milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
Chopped peaches for garnish
Mint leaves for garnish
Drizzle of honey for garnish
Instructions
Wash the peaches thoroughly, slice them in half, remove the pits, and chop them into small pieces.
Combine the chopped peaches and sugar in a medium mixing bowl, letting the mixture sit for 10-15 minutes.
Transfer the peach and sugar mixture to a blender or food processor, adding heavy cream, milk, vanilla, and optional ingredients. Blend until smooth, leaving some peach chunks.
Refrigerate the blended peach mixture for at least 2 hours.
Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions (about 20-25 minutes).
Transfer churned ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours.
