  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: Chocolate chips, nuts, dried fruits

  • Instructions

  • Prepare the bread: Cut the loaf of bread into cubes and let them sit out overnight to dry.
  • Make the custard: In a bowl, whisk together eggs, pumpkin puree, milk, vanilla, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until smooth.
  • Arrange the bread: Place half of the bread cubes in a greased baking dish and pour half of the custard over them.
  • Add the cream cheese filling: Mix the cream cheese with powdered sugar and dollop it over the soaked bread.
