  • Spices (such as cinnamon or cardamom) – optional
  • Brown sugar – optional
  • Crumbled feta or goat cheese – optional
  • Fresh mint leaves – optional
  • Greek yogurt – optional

  • Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Rinse the fresh figs gently under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel. Cut a small cross in the top of each fig using a sharp knife.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and a pinch of sea salt.
  • Place the figs in a single layer on a baking sheet or in a baking dish, cut side up. Drizzle the glaze mixture over the figs.
