1 pound of Italian sausage
1 medium onion, chopped
2 celery stalks, chopped
3–4 cups of bread cubes
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
2 teaspoons sage
1 teaspoon thyme
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups of chicken broth
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking.
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the sausage and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks (about 5-7 minutes). Remove the sausage and set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.
Add chopped onion and celery to the skillet with the sausage drippings. Sauté for about 5 minutes, until the vegetables are softened.
