  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 12 ounces pasta (linguine or spaghetti)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

  • Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large pot, boil salted water and cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic, and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Toss in the shrimp and red pepper flakes, cooking until the shrimp turns pink, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Pour in the white wine, scraping up any bits from the bottom of the pan, and let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, and heavy cream, mixing until well combined. Add cooked pasta and mix to coat everything evenly.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously over the top.
  • Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
