  • 2 lbs of beef flank steak
  • 4 cups of broccoli florets
  • 1 cup of soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup of beef broth
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Instructions

  • Cut the flank steak against the grain into thin strips.
  • In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, minced garlic, minced ginger, and sesame oil.
  • Place the cut beef at the bottom of the slow cooker and pour the sauce mixture over it, ensuring all pieces are well-coated.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the beef is tender.
  • About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the broccoli florets.
  • If the sauce is too thin, dissolve cornstarch in 2 tablespoons of water, and stir it in 15 minutes before serving.
