Instructions

  • Season and Sear: In a large skillet over medium heat, add a bit of oil and sear the beef chunks on all sides until they develop a nice brown crust. This step is optional but adds depth to the flavor.
  • Add to the Slow Cooker: Place the seared beef into the slow cooker. If you skipped the searing, simply add the raw chunks to the cooker.
  • Add Vegetables: Scatter the diced onions and minced garlic over the beef.
