2 lbs Ground beef
1 Onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
1 Egg, beaten
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
1 cup Beef broth
1 packet Onion soup mix
8 oz Mushrooms, sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
Shape the beef mixture into 4-6 equal patties, making them slightly thicker in the center.
In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the patties on both sides (optional).
In a bowl, whisk together the beef broth and onion soup mix until well blended. Stir in the sliced mushrooms.
Place the browned patties in the slow cooker and pour the mushroom gravy mixture over the top.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
