Description

Treat your guests with smoked salmon chive devilled eggs, the ideal savory bites for any gathering. Simple yet impressive party snacks they’ll love!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 oz smoked salmon
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish

  • Instructions

  • Start by placing the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with cold water. Make sure there’s about an inch of water above the eggs. Bring it to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.
  • Once boiling, cover the pan and remove it from heat. Let the eggs sit for about 12-15 minutes.
  • After they’re done, carefully transfer the eggs to an ice bath to stop the cooking process. Let them cool completely for about 10 minutes.
  • Once cooled, peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Gently scoop the yolks into a mixing bowl, and set the egg whites aside on a serving platter.
  • To the yolks, add the smoked salmon, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and chives. Season with salt and pepper. Mash everything together with a fork or use a hand mixer.
  • Spoon the filling back into the egg whites or use a piping bag for a fancier look. Sprinkle with paprika and any extra garnishes you desire.
  • Serve immediately.
