  • ½ cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 container of frosting (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 bag of green candy melts
  • Sprinkles or decorative toppings (golden or festive)

  • Instructions

  • Preheat your oven following the instructions on the cake mix box. Mix the ingredients—mix the cake mix, eggs, water or milk, and oil in a large bowl until nice and smooth. Pour it into a greased baking pan and bake it according to package instructions. Let it cool completely.
  • Once cooled, crumble the cake into a large bowl until it’s a fine texture.
  • Mix in the frosting into the crumbled cake until the mixture is moldable but not too sticky.
  • Roll small amounts of the cake mixture into 1-inch balls and place onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Chill the tray in the fridge for about 30 minutes to firm them up.
  • Melt the green candy coating according to package instructions until you achieve a smooth consistency.
  • Dip the end of each lollipop stick into the melted candy, then insert it halfway into each cake ball. Dip each ball into melted candy, twirling to ensure full coverage.
  • While the coating is still wet, sprinkle on your decorative toppings.
  • Allow the pops to stand upright until the candy coating hardens.
