  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 package (6 ounces) strawberry-flavored gelatin

  • Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, combine the crushed pretzels, sugar, and melted butter until crumbly. Press into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes and let cool completely.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping. Spread evenly over the cooled pretzel crust.
  • In a saucepan, bring water and sugar to a boil. Stir in gelatin until fully dissolved. Allow to cool slightly, then stir in sliced strawberries. Pour over the cream cheese layer and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
