Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cauliflower
  • 3 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of sriracha, chili paste, or cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional Additions: Red pepper flakes, lime juice, chopped green onions
  • Special Garnishes: Sesame seeds, fresh cilantro or parsley

  • Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Wash and cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
  • In a large bowl, combine honey (or maple syrup), soy sauce, olive oil, sriracha (or chosen heat), garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk until combined.
  • Add the cauliflower florets to the bowl and toss until evenly coated.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Spread the cauliflower out in a single layer.
  • Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  • Once baked, remove from the oven. Squeeze lime juice over the top and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped cilantro or parsley before serving.
