- ½ cup maple syrup
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups peeled and diced apples
- ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
- ½ cup raisins or dried cranberries (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch square baking dish.
- Combine rolled oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Whisk together the milk, maple syrup, and eggs in another bowl and pour it over the dry ingredients.
- Fold in diced apples, walnuts, and raisins if using.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for about 10 minutes before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
