Description

A decadent espresso cheesecake that perfectly blends rich coffee flavors with creamy cheesecake. Ideal for gatherings and special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 (8 oz) packages of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup espresso or strong brewed coffee (cooled)
  • 2 teaspoons coffee liqueur (optional)
  • Whipped cream (for topping)
  • Chocolate shavings (for garnish)
  • Cocoa powder (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and prepare a 9-inch springform pan by greasing it with butter or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the softened cream cheese and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until creamy and smooth.
  3. Incorporate the vanilla extract, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Gradually pour in the heavy cream and espresso, mixing until well blended and smooth.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture into the prepared crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is set but slightly jiggly. Let cool to room temperature before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
  7. Remove from the springform pan and top with whipped cream and any garnishes you prefer before serving.

Notes

For variations, add caramel sauce or chocolate chips for a twist. Vegan options are available by substituting with plant-based ingredients.
