- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 cup fresh or frozen cherries, pitted and chopped
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Chop your cherries into small pieces.
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each, then add vanilla extract.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually incorporate this into the wet mixture until just combined. Fold in chopped cherries and chocolate chips.
- Drop tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, leaving space for spreading. Press extra chocolate chips on top if desired.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are slightly soft. Allow to cool before transferring to a wire rack.
