- 12 large Fresh Jalapeños
- 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
- 1 cup Shredded Cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 2 sheets Puff Pastry
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- ¼ cup Chopped Green Onions (optional)
- Sriracha or Hot Sauce (optional)
- Olive Slices for garnish
- Fresh Parsley or Cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds and membranes.
- Mix cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth. Add optional ingredients as desired.
- Thaw puff pastry, roll out, and cut into strips. Fill each jalapeño half with cream cheese mixture and wrap strips around them.
- Brush with egg wash and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Add olive slices for eyes before serving.
