Description
Delicious and crispy air-fryer French fries that evoke memories of family gatherings and summer picnics.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large russet potatoes (about 1.5 lbs)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Wash and peel the russet potatoes and cut them into even strips, about ¼ inch wide. Rinse in cold water for 15-30 minutes to remove excess starch, then pat dry.
- Combine the cut and dried potato strips with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Toss until well coated. Arrange fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to cook evenly. Once golden brown and crispy, transfer to a serving platter.
Notes
For added flavor, consider sprinkling with grated Parmesan cheese or garnishing with fresh herbs. Serve with dipping sauces like ketchup or garlic aioli.
