- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: 1 cup shredded cheese for topping
Instructions
- Begin by preparing your ingredients. Dice the onion and bell pepper, mince the garlic, and measure out your spices.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until it’s no longer pink, adding in the onions and peppers until they become tender. Transfer the mixture into your crockpot.
- Stir in the crushed tomatoes, beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and spices. Mix well.
- Add the elbow macaroni last and mix everything together gently. Set your crockpot to low and let it slow-cook for about 240 minutes.
- Serve your goulash warm, topped with cheese or garnished with fresh herbs.
