Description

Cool down with this easy peach sorbet recipe. Perfect summer dessert for hot days, featuring fresh peaches and simple ingredients. Enjoy a fruity treat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ripe peaches (about 2 pounds)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup water
  • Mint leaves (optional)
  • Almond extract (optional)

  • Instructions

  • Start by washing your peaches thoroughly. Then, get your trusty knife and slice them in half to remove the pits. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can peel them, but it’s not entirely necessary.
  • In a saucepan, combine your peach halves, sugar, lemon juice, and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved, and the peaches are soft—about 10-15 minutes.
  • Transfer the mixture to a blender (make sure to let it cool a bit first to avoid any hot splashes!). Blend until smooth.
  • Once blended, pour the mixture into a bowl and pop it into the refrigerator for about an hour.
  • If you have an ice cream maker, pour the peach mixture in and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
  • Transfer the sorbet to an airtight container and freeze for at least 2-4 hours until fully set.
  • Notes

A refreshing and easy-to-make Peach Sorbet that captures the bright, sunny flavor of ripe peaches in every scoop.
