Description

A heartwarming dish that combines savory kielbasa, tender cabbage, and crispy roasted potatoes, perfect for cozy family dinners.

Ingredients

  • Kielbasa – 1 pound (beef or pork)
  • Cabbage – 1 small head (about 1 pound), chopped
  • Potatoes – 4 medium, diced
  • Onion – 1 large, chopped
  • Garlic – 3 cloves, minced
  • Olive oil – 2 tablespoons
  • Salt and pepper – to taste
  • Smoked paprika – 1 teaspoon
  • Caraway seeds – 1 teaspoon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Dice the potatoes and chop the cabbage, onion, and garlic.
  2. Toss the potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika, then roast for 25-30 minutes until golden.
  3. Heat a skillet, add olive oil, and sauté onion and garlic until translucent. Add cabbage and cook until golden.
  4. Add sliced kielbasa and cook until browned. Serve with the roasted potatoes and garnish with fresh herbs.

Notes

For a spicy kick, consider adding red pepper flakes. You can swap out kielbasa for plant-based options for a vegetarian dish.
