Ingredients
Scale
1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon paprika
Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
Start by rinsing the shrimp under cold water and patting them dry with paper towels.
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and paprika. Simmer for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
In a medium bowl, add the shrimp and pour the garlic butter mixture over them. Toss gently to coat each shrimp and let them marinate for at least 15-30 minutes.
While shrimp are marinating, soak wooden skewers in water for about 30 minutes. Thread the shrimp onto the skewers, leaving space between each.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grease the grill grates.
Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque, brushing on any leftover garlic butter as they cook.
Once done, remove them from the grill and transfer to a serving platter. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
