Description

Savor grilled garlic butter shrimp skewers for a delicious meal. Perfectly cooked and full of flavor, they’re great for any BBQ!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

  • Instructions

  • Start by rinsing the shrimp under cold water and patting them dry with paper towels.
  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and paprika. Simmer for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  • In a medium bowl, add the shrimp and pour the garlic butter mixture over them. Toss gently to coat each shrimp and let them marinate for at least 15-30 minutes.
  • While shrimp are marinating, soak wooden skewers in water for about 30 minutes. Thread the shrimp onto the skewers, leaving space between each.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grease the grill grates.
  • Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque, brushing on any leftover garlic butter as they cook.
  • Once done, remove them from the grill and transfer to a serving platter. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
  • Notes

These Garlic Butter Shrimp Skewers are simple, delicious, and the ultimate crowd-pleaser for any outdoor gathering. Packed with flavor and easy to prepare, they are perfect for any occasion.
