Description

A simple yet delicious dish featuring roasted broccoli florets tossed in garlic and Parmesan cheese, perfect as a side or a centerpiece for any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound fresh broccoli florets
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Rinse the broccoli under cold water and chop it into bite-sized florets. Dry them completely to avoid steaming.
  2. Toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until well coated. Spread evenly on a baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove and sprinkle Parmesan over broccoli, return to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes until cheese is melted and broccoli is tender.
  4. Serve warm, drizzled with lemon juice, and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to customize with additional spices or cheese substitutes. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
