Description
A comforting and flavorful one-pot meal featuring tender steak, cheese tortellini, and a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 12 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Start by gathering all your ingredients. Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper. Mince your garlic and get your tortellini ready.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steak and sear until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the minced garlic to the same skillet and stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then, pour in the beef broth and heavy cream, mixing well. Stir in the Italian seasoning and bring to a simmer.
- Add the tortellini to the skillet and cook according to package instructions, usually about 3-5 minutes.
- Once the tortellini is cooked, return the steak to the skillet. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
For added flavor, consider customizing with vegetables or different proteins. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days.
