Ingredients
Scale
2 ribeye steaks, about 1 inch thick
1 tablespoon of salt
1 teaspoon of black pepper
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1/2 cup of unsalted butter, softened
3 cloves of garlic, minced
2 tablespoons of fresh herbs, chopped (like parsley, thyme, or rosemary)
Instructions
Bring the steaks to room temperature by taking them out of the fridge at least 30 minutes before cooking.
Season both sides of the steaks generously with salt and black pepper.
Preheat your grill to high heat for best results.
Make the garlic-herb butter by mixing softened butter, minced garlic, and fresh herbs in a bowl until well combined.
Place the ribeyes on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side without moving them.
Flip the steaks and grill for another 3-4 minutes for medium-rare (130°F), adjusting the time for desired doneness.
Transfer the steaks to a plate and let them rest for about 5-10 minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
Top each steak with a generous dollop of the garlic-herb butter while they're still warm.
