- 4 ripe pears (Bartlett or Bosc)
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon butter or coconut oil
- Chopped nuts (optional)
- Greek yogurt (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish with butter or coconut oil.
- Wash and dry the pears, then slice them in half lengthwise and remove the core.
- Combine honey or maple syrup, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and melted butter or coconut oil in a small bowl to create a glaze.
- Place the pear halves cut side up in the baking dish and drizzle the glaze over them.
- Bake the pears for 25-30 minutes, or until tender, basting occasionally with juices from the dish.
- Serve warm, optionally topped with Greek yogurt and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
