  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of buttermilk
  • ¾ cup of rainbow sprinkles

  • Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar together on medium speed for about 3 to 5 minutes until light and fluffy.

  • Gradually add your dry mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with buttermilk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Mix until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the rainbow sprinkles.
  • Divide the batter evenly between greased cake pans and bake for 25 to 30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let the cakes cool in the pans for about 10 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
