Ingredients
Scale
- 4–6 bone-in chicken thighs (skin-on)
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced (optional)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: sliced green onions for garnish
- Optional: sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Rinse the chicken thighs under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel. In a mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and fresh ginger (if using).
- Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then add them to the pan skin-side down. Sear for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Pour the honey-garlic mixture over the chicken and transfer the skillet to the oven.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, basting halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and glazed. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
