Description
Delicious skewers combining sweet peaches and spicy jalapenos, perfect for summer barbecues.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound Chicken Breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 medium Fresh Peaches, sliced into thick wedges
- 2 medium Jalapenos, sliced
- 1/4 cup Olive Oil
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 2 tablespoons Honey
- 1 tablespoon Lime Juice
Instructions
- Start by preparing your ingredients for the skewers. Cut the chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes, ensuring they are of uniform size for even cooking. Slice the peaches into thick wedges, keeping the skin on.
- Combine olive oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, honey, and lime juice in a bowl. Add cubed chicken, sliced peaches, and jalapenos, tossing until well-coated. Let marinate for at least 20 minutes.
- Assemble the skewers by alternating pieces of chicken, peach, and jalapeno. Soak wooden skewers for 30 minutes beforehand to prevent burning.
- Cook the skewers on a preheated grill over medium-high heat for about 10-12 minutes, flipping occasionally, until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Serve the skewers on a large platter garnished with chopped cilantro or crumbled feta.
Notes
For extra heat, add red pepper flakes or a spicier variety of jalapenos. You can substitute peaches with mango or pineapple for a different twist.
