Description

Deliciously rich blondies filled with chocolate and crunchy mini eggs, perfect for Spring celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 1 ½ cups brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mini chocolate eggs, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
  4. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl. Gradually add this dry mixture to the butter mixture, stirring gently.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped mini eggs.
  6. Pour the batter into your prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

These blondies can be customized with nuts or flavored with espresso. Serve warm or with ice cream.
