Description
A delicious one-pan dish featuring succulent steak bites and tender potatoes, all bathed in a garlic herb butter sauce perfect for cozy gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 lb baby potatoes, halved or quartered
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Begin by gathering all your ingredients. Preheat your pan over medium-high heat. Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper. Wash and cut the baby potatoes.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in the preheated pan, then add the halved baby potatoes. Cook for about 10-15 minutes until golden and fork-tender. Remove the potatoes and set aside.
- Add the steak bites to the same pan, cooking for 3-5 minutes until browned on all sides. Then, add garlic, thyme, and rosemary, stirring constantly for about a minute until fragrant.
- Return the potatoes to the pan, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, and stir to coat everything. Transfer to a serving dish and drizzle any remaining herb butter over the top.
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding a splash of red wine to the pan or adjusting the herbs to taste.
